I have just received an award from an outstanding chef blogger ~ Umi of UmiDishes. Thank you so much, I am humbled. Actually, I am a person who doesn’t really like to eat much. I eat just to survive lol! And I know that there are tons of food and recipe blogs out there, it’s FOOD! and they are all good to look at. So colorful and vibrant!
In a nutshell Umidishes got my attention for the following criteria:
- Nice and clean blog layout.
- Presented in a very clear, consice and intuitive way. I especially like the short history and her thoughts on things.
- The awesome “how-to” videos are icing on the top. You can almost smell the cooking lol!
- Tons of traditional malay recipes to go by, in some ways reminds me of my late mother..there are some dishes there that she used to cook too. Today is the 500th day that she’s moved on..sigh miss her much.
